Agenda
Friday,
September 17, 2010
Bill Mencarow will be hosting a private Mastermind meeting
with Paper Source subscribers from 2-4 pm (see the concierge
for
location).
Conference registration will be open from 4-6 pm, with a Reception from
6-8 pm
(and beyond...) where you can meet with Dean and other speakers on an
informal basis as well as
network with fellow attendees prior to the event.
Saturday, September 18, 2010
Conference sessions scheduled 8 am - 5 pm, with a "VIP Event" Cocktail
Reception from 5-7 pm.
Learn from case studies of retail investors (and investment funds)
working through non-performing notes. Your key questions will be
answered, such as: How do I avoid losing my shirt? What is the most
profitable exit strategy in 2010? How do I manage re-performing bank
notes (Bankruptcies and re-performers)? What do I do when I run into
trouble?
You'll learn about buying in groups - one of the best ways to maximize
buying power and minimize risk to group members. Joining a note fund is
also a great way to learn "on the job" by joining forces with more
experienced note investors.
Finally, we will have Note Sellers share their candid views on what
they look for in a prospective Note buyer. As note investing goes more
mainstream, Sellers have to work harder to weed out the amateurs, and
we will hear tips from them on how to be taken seriously. Be sure to
bring your questions on Finding and Negotiating.
SATURDAY
VIP EVENT: invite only.
Sunday, September 19, 2010
Conference sessions scheduled 8 am-5 pm
On Sunday we will introduce you to two crucial members of your Note
buying team: the Ground Agent and the Negotiator.
We will go over the finer points of using self-directed IRAs (yours and
especially your partners') to fund deals.
Then we will help you navigate the ever-shifting world of licensing,
with a focus on strategies for avoiding licensing requirements when
possible.
Finally, we will feature presentations from Note Sellers, and you will
have the chance to network with institutional and retail note sellers.
Monday,
September 20, 2010--Private,
invitation-only VIP Mastermind
session with Dean and NBP coaches, followed by a "Note Investor's Bus
Tour."
The afternoon tour will be led by Mr. X, a very successful Denver-based
RE investor who will literally show you the inside of his business,
including actual properties for which he owns the note. He will also
share his strategy for integrating note investing and buying at local
foreclosure auctions.
All
attendees will be invited to attend the bus tour, but since tickets
are, obviously, limited, we will not be able to accept everyone. Call
the office for details.
Note:
attendance at the Monday events
is NOT included in the regular ticket purchase.
VIP Mastermind session scheduled 9 am - 12 pm; Bus Tour begins after
lunch and runs through late afternoon.
See you in Denver at the
Note Summit!
